Aims of Fund

To make a significant difference to local community groups based in Sussex. They would like to fund groups for whom a small donation (under £1000) will make a big difference.

Who can apply

Small groups in Sussex. You do not need to be a registered charity. They do not fund religious, political or personal causes.

How much and what can you apply for

Most grants are less than £1000. The trust typically award about £5,000 per quarter overall to groups. Groups should be able to demonstrate how the funding will make a significant difference to end users experiencing financial difficulty.

They are particularly open to applications from registered community organisations helping those most affected by the ongoing cost of living crisis.

How to apply

Go to their website: www.homity.co.uk/applying-for-a-grant/

The trustees will check/visit all successful applicants before actual payment of any funds.

Deadlines for application

The next deadline is on 28th March 2025. They recommend you apply at least a few days before the deadline.

We hope you find this page useful. Would you like to make a donation?

All Resource Centre information is available for free because we know small community groups have small budgets. However, we are a small charity, so if you are in a position to make a donation, it will help us to keep running this service into the future.
