Aims of Fund

To support community groups in East Brighton.

Who can apply

Community groups and not-for-profit organisations which benefit people living in:

  • Bates Estate,
  • Higher Bevendean,
  • Manor Farm,
  • Moulsecoomb,
  • Saunders Park,
  • Bristol Estate,
  • Craven Vale,
  • Whitehawk

How much and what can you apply for

You can apply for £50-£1000 for any event or activity that will benefit East Brighton residents.

How to apply

If you need emergency funding for a project in East Brighton to support people through the Covid-19 pandemic, you can apply to the Colin Sayers Random Acts of Kindness fund, via an online form on the East Brighton Trust website

For general grants, fill in an application form, which you can download from the Sussex Community Foundation website.

This fund is administered by Sussex Community Foundation, but you can apply for it even if you already have a grant from Sussex Community Foundation.

Deadlines for application

  • 8th January 2021 for non-emergency projects
