Healthy Neighbourhood Fund

Grants available for: Health and wellbeing related community activities in Brighton & Hove (selected neighbourhoods or citywide)
Size of grants given: up to £500
Next deadline: For citywide fund: 3rd November 2025. For neighbourhoods, check with TDC worker for your area.

Aims of Fund

This funding is for projects which aim to benefit one or more of these Public Health priorities

        • Increasing active living & physical activity.
        • Improving nutrition and reducing overweight and being obese.
        • Improving mental health & mental wellbeing.
        • Improving sexual health.
        • Reducing smoking and use of alcohol and drugs.
        • Reduction of loneliness and isolation.
        • Supporting healthy starts (children and young people).
        • Supporting healthy ageing.
        • Improving community support and wellbeing for people near the end of life

    • Tarner & Eastern Rd
  • West area
    • Hangleton & Knoll
    • Portslade

For projects that meet the criteria and benefit people on low incomes in other parts of the city, contact Ceza DaLuz for the citywide fund.

The limit is £500 per project.

Deadline for citywide projects: 3rd November 2025

The fund opens once a year, and there are different deadlines depending on the area. These are often not announced on the website, so its best to contact your local TDC worker for up to date information.
