LGBT+ Futures Equity Fund

Grants available for: not-for-profit organisations run by and for LGBT+ people
Size of grants given: £100 – £25,000
Next deadline: 21st November 2024 (12 noon)

Aims of Fund

To help intersectional and targeted LGBT+ organisations be well resourced, sustainable, and resilient.

Who can apply

Non-profit groups/organisations in England that are led by and for LGBT+ people and specifically working with one or more of the following communities of focus:
• D/deaf, Disabled, Neurodivergent LGBT+ People
• LGBTQIA+ Women
• LGBT+ People of the Global Majority
• Older LGBT+ People
• Trans and Non-Binary People

If your organisation supports a wider group of people (e.g. all LGBT+ people), unfortunately your project is not eligible for this fund, even if you have a project to support one or more communities of focus. Your organisation must be set up to support one or more of the communities of focus.

For more information read their guidance notes.

How much and what can you apply for

You can apply for between £100 and £25,000. Grants must be fully spent by 30th October 2025.

They aim to be flexible with their funding and to support what groups need, including:

  • Projects
  • Core funding
  • Leadership development
  • Organisational development/internal governance work

For more information, read their guidance notes.

How to apply

You can either:

(1) Fill out the online application; or

(2) Upload a video. Videos should be a maximum length of 5 minutes and information included in the video will be transcribed into a written application form by a member of the grants team. No
community panellists will view the original video.

In either case, you will be asked at the beginning of the application how much you are applying for. Organisations asking for larger amounts of money will be asked more questions.

All Resource Centre information is available for free because we know small community groups have small budgets. However, we are a small charity, so if you are in a position to make a donation, it will help us to keep running this service into the future.
