Grants available for: Health and wellbeing related community activities in selected neighbourhoods in Brighton & Hove
Size of grants given: up to £500

Aims of Fund

This funding is for groups which meet any of the following health priorities:

  • Healthy Eating
  • Active Living
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Ageing Well
  • Maintaining health on a low income
  • Raising awareness about key health messages (e.g. on smoking, alcohol or sexual health)

Groups in the following areas:

  • Bevendean
  • Coldean
  • Craven Vale
  • East Brighton
  • Hangleton & Knoll
  • Hollingbury
  • Hollingdean
  • Moulsecoomb
  • Pankhurst Area
  • Portslade
  • Tarner & Eastern Rd
  • West Hove
  • Woodingdean

How much and what can you apply for

The limit is £500 per project.

Deadlines for application

The fund opens once a year, and there are different deadlines depending on the area. These are often not announced on the website, so its best to contact your local TDC worker for up to date information.
