Training – Engaging with Gypsies & Travellers

10am – 1pm with a networking sandwich lunch to follow.
Cost: £25 including lunch. Free places for Gypsies & Travellers. Please enquire about bursary places.

This half day course is for workers and volunteers in voluntary sector organisations wanting to engage or work more effectively with Gypsies and Travellers. (You should only attend one of these sessions).

This is a lively, interactive session with talk and questions with Gypsies & Traveller and experienced Workers. Takeaway resources and hand-outs provided.

By the end of the course you will:
• Have an overview on Gypsy & Traveller issues and the Brighton & Hove picture.
• Be able to identify barriers to engagement and how to overcome them.
• Understand best practice models of engagement and real life examples.
