Resource Centre AGM 2023

Thank you to everyone who came along to our AGM 2023 on Wednesday 29th November on zoom. It was a shame to be back online again this year, but we had to postpone our originally scheduled in-person AGM due to staff illness. It was great to see everyone on screen though, and to have such enthusiastic and valuable participation. We were joined by representatives from 21 different member groups.

Using an online poll on zoom, our new management committee for 2023-24 was elected:

We thanked Jason Williams and Ramy AlSafe, who both stepped down from the committee. We commemorated Ann Packham, who sadly passed away this year, and highlighted the enormous amounts of work she did for many communities over the years. She will be sadly missed.

The meeting approved our annual accounts and heard about the work of the Resource Centre over the last year. We recognised and celebrated the fact that people have returned to DIY printing and dropping in to the Centre for advice and information. The Centre is once again becoming a busy and buzzy place, where people bump into each other, swap tips and pick up ideas.
